Hi! I’m Rosie. I was born and raised in New Jersey. I have a degree from Rutgers University and I’m still trying to figure out what to do with my B.A. in English.

I am currently living in Maryland with my husband who just ended his military career. I was a proud Army wife for 5 1/2 years and now I am still just as proud of my husband who is exploring other career paths.

Our first baby boy was born on May 8, 2014.  We just bought a house and plan on staying in Maryland for the foreseeable future.

I love reading, Starbucks, Disney, the beach, experimenting with new recipes, Olive Garden, Chic-fil-a, Pizza Hut, Korean food, teen drama shows, and dogs.

I hate Shakespeare, mayonnaise, pickles, ants, pet birds, snow, clowns, caramel flavoring, and raspberries.

We are hoping to maybe visit some other countries. It seems like we will be here forever, but it’ll be over before we know it! We have to see as much as we can while we are here. Thanks for visiting!

Definitely do it! My favorite was Angkor Wat in Cambodia (must see!) and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia is pretty awesome (go to the Petronas towers at night – stunning!). Great to connect with you 🙂

Hi Rosie! It is so great to read about who you are and what you are doing. I love reading blogs with real people behind them. I was an army wife too and it can be really rough. Thank you so much for you and your husband’s sacrifices to serve our country!

Hi Rosie, it’s good to meet you. Thanks for coming over to my blog. You seem a very resourceful and strong person. I’d love to visit South Korea some time, but am sure I’d miss my family if I had to stay there any length of time. Good luck and best wishes to you and your husband.

thanks for visiting my blog! I appreciate the kind words. It’s hard to be away from my family, but it makes our time together even more memorable.

How fun to live in Korea!! I bet the food is so delicious! Can’t get much Korean food here in San Antonio so I am often craving it.
