Hi! I’m Rosie. I was born and raised in New Jersey. I have a degree from Rutgers University and I’m still trying to figure out what to do with my B.A. in English.
I am currently living in Maryland with my husband who just ended his military career. I was a proud Army wife for 5 1/2 years and now I am still just as proud of my husband who is exploring other career paths.
Our first baby boy was born on May 8, 2014. We just bought a house and plan on staying in Maryland for the foreseeable future.
I love reading, Starbucks, Disney, the beach, experimenting with new recipes, Olive Garden, Chic-fil-a, Pizza Hut, Korean food, teen drama shows, and dogs.
I hate Shakespeare, mayonnaise, pickles, ants, pet birds, snow, clowns, caramel flavoring, and raspberries.

We could be best friends because you would never eat my (most ever favorite fruit:) raspberries 😉 You are a beautiful couple!
aww thanks! I do love strawberries though!
😀
MMMMMmmmm Korean food! A favorite of ours ever since T returned from his tour over there.
Going to the market today to buy some fresh Kimchi! I would have never tried Korean food if it wasn’t for the Army, it’s the best!
Wow South Korea? That’s amazing! I love Asia – recently spent time in Thailand, Cambodia, and Malaysia… Such an incredible culture 🙂
We are hoping to maybe visit some other countries. It seems like we will be here forever, but it’ll be over before we know it! We have to see as much as we can while we are here. Thanks for visiting!
Definitely do it! My favorite was Angkor Wat in Cambodia (must see!) and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia is pretty awesome (go to the Petronas towers at night – stunning!). Great to connect with you 🙂
Hi Rosie! It is so great to read about who you are and what you are doing. I love reading blogs with real people behind them. I was an army wife too and it can be really rough. Thank you so much for you and your husband’s sacrifices to serve our country!
Thanks so much for visiting! I appreciate the support, us Army Wives have to stick together 🙂
I have an English degree too! Did you specialize in a certain track? I studied creative writing.
No, but I would like to go back to get my Master’s in Children’s Literature. I love YA and Children’s Literature.
Wow, South Korea! I’m jealous! I want to live there so badly! How are you enjoying it?
I can’t wait to get back to the U.S. I’m missing home: family, friends, Target.
> I love reading, Starbucks…
My novel takes place largely in a Starbucks, if that’s any incentive to read it when it finally gets finished. 🙂
sounds awesome! Definitely incentive!
Hi Rosie, it’s good to meet you. Thanks for coming over to my blog. You seem a very resourceful and strong person. I’d love to visit South Korea some time, but am sure I’d miss my family if I had to stay there any length of time. Good luck and best wishes to you and your husband.
thanks for visiting my blog! I appreciate the kind words. It’s hard to be away from my family, but it makes our time together even more memorable.
How fun to live in Korea!! I bet the food is so delicious! Can’t get much Korean food here in San Antonio so I am often craving it.
I love that shadow pic. Too cute.
Just found your blog. We are currently in the DC area but would love to live in Korea! 🙂
