A good friend of mine from South Korea, and fellow Army wife, owns her own business, The Pink Turnip. Liz, the creator of The Pink Turnip, sold her handmade items at local markets in South Korea, and now she is back up and running in Georgia, where she recently moved to while her husband is stationed there. If you are not in Georgia, you can find her beautiful creations on Etsy, The Pink Turnip.
I love her pieces, especially the baby items she sews; she makes the cutest bibs for little boys and little girls. Not only does she make baby bibs, she also makes diaper/wipe clutches and changing pad clutches. Liz has an eye for cute fabrics; a lot of her current stock of fabric comes directly from Korea!
Besides baby items, Liz also makes aprons, fold-up shopping bags, e-reader cases, and purses (including the most convenient/cutest clutches). And if that weren’t enough, Liz crochets infinity scarfs (circle scarfs) and paints one-of-a-kind artwork (including baby subway art!) Check out Liz’s shop at Etsy to see all of the products I mentioned above, as well as, a few more. Her fabulous items would make a great gift for an upcoming baby shower, bridal shower, or any special occasion. While you’re there shopping for gifts, get yourself a little something too.
